& All That Jazz

New Orleans is full of culture!

Day and night on Bourbon street is completely opposite. In the day it is beautiful. Jazz music playing, while the natives welcome everyone In their small shops and yummy restaurants.  At night it is a whole different experience. Everyone is walking around drinking and dancing. It's like a block party. Very exciting!!

So both of these opposite experiences need different outfits!

The First night we had a late dinner and walked around town. My first outfit was a simple black mesh and slip dress. This dress is so comfortable and cute! The slip is the perfect length!

The Low wedges are perfect for the summer and for walking around site seeing. I love the snake skin because it can match all colors!!

Black Sheer with black slip - ASOS, size 14, $58
Low wedges- snake skin, Shoe dazzle, size 9, $25

Second outfit was the day outfit for sight seeing and tours. Rompers are going to be my go to for this summer. It's just so easy to throw on and they are so comfortable!

Romper- burgundy and beige, Gslovesme, $36, size 2x
Lace up gladiator sandals- Shoe Dazzle, size 8.5

Last night outfit was more of a "girls night out" outfit. My friend hooked up this bodysuit for me. She can make it in any color and size. Check her out! The skirt had shorts attached, it was the perfect southern look!

Bodysuit- sirenenyc_ (Instagram), olive green, made to fit me
Skirt- Forever 21, black, $29, size 2x

All my outfits were inspired by Beyoncé's formation video! New Orleans was amazing. I recommend it! Make sure you bring comfortable clothes for the day and statement outfits for the night!

& i leave you with this...

We travel not to escape life..but for life not to escape us...
